David began acting at an early age in an after school program. He fell in love with the theatre and pursued early training by attending Landon and Douglas Anderson, Middle and High Schools for the performing arts in Jacksonville, FL.  He then attended Florida Community College on a full, talent based scholarship before earning a BFA in Acting at Kean University.  Some of David's favorite academic credits include Michal in The Pillowman, Maurice in Good, and Weinberl in On The Razzle.  While attending Kean University David was also lucky enough to land some early work with Premiere Stages, the equity theatre in residence on campus where he premiered Tammy Ryan's Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods starring four time Emmy Award winner Kim Zimmer.

Since moving to New York, David has originated many roles on stage including Michael in Riley Thomas' Convicted, the Randall/Reuben duo in Monica Bauer's Anne Frank in the Gaza Srip, Rev. Russell Lawrence in Baptized at the NYC International Fringe Festival, Hagope in Silence... starring Tony Award nominee Lorraine Serrabian, RMody31 in Spookfish Theatre Company's production of i wrote on ur wall and now i regret it, George in Negative is Positive at Theater for the New City.  David hasn't ignored the already well established works however, performing as Uncle Peck and Brian in the Pulitzer Prize Winning Plays How I Learned to Drive and The Shadow Box, respectively.  For regional credits, please see David's resume below, but some of his favorite roles include Sam in Grace at Lake Dillon Theatre Company and John in Oleanna at Playhouse on Park.

David has started establishing a name for himself in the film world recently as well, co-starring in the upcoming transgender rom-com "What If" with Buck Angel.  He has also starred in the short films "[escape]" and "The Suit" which has been getting a lot of recognition in the film festival circuit and earning David several acting nominations.  He also had a featured role in 2016's GLAAD Medial Award nominated Indepent Film "Naz + Maalik" and can be seen as a series regular on "Daddyhunt: The Serial.
